Last weekend I went on a “nature walk” at the Field Museum.
I really should take better advantage of the multiple museums, exhibits, and other cultural things in town. It’s hard to believe that I’ve been living here for almost a year and a half, and this is the first time I’d been in that South Loop Museum Campus area.
Then again, more things should be easier to get to and free to attend…like the Chicago Cultural Center is.

Was anybody else here for this? There were two songs Hum played that I couldn’t recognize.
Suicide Machine, The Pod, Iron Clad Lou, Little Dipper, _____, Green To Me, I Hate It Too, Comin’ Home, Afternoon With The Axolotis, Stars, _____, The Scientists, (encore) I’d Like Your Hair Long.
Bucket list, check. Also, Maritime was awesome.
There’s no way this is legit, right?

Mini vacation over, back to the grind.
I recently “experienced” (for lack a better term) an interactive theater production called En Route, in which you are led via text around the Chicago Loop in a sort-of scavenger hunt style maze. Seriously, it was a LOT of fun.
Read/Watch more about the show HERE. And, oh yeah, two of my bands are featured on its soundtrack..
This one is for Jonathan Schimpf. Your move, sir.

This has been the background on my laptop for a week, and I’ve already mistaken the bird for my cursor a zillion times.
