Some More Photos From Mall Of Lego-merica
…because I still haven’t fully gotten over this yet. There are actual works of art on the wall made entirely out of Legos. I would be thrilled to have something like this in my living room:
Or something like this instead of a rack of antlers:
This kind of detail is just staggering.

I’M NOT OKAY WITH CHRIS BROWN PERFORMING AT THE... →
This is a wonderful article. If you’re going to glaze over and say “tl;dr”, here are some of the highlights:
I’m frustrated that the mainstream media is covering this story…as though some rich and powerful old white men in the music business have not just issued an enormous ‘f**k you’ to every woman who has been, is or will be on the receiving end of domestic...

Some Of My Audio Work Posted Online →
A few weeks ago I met with Kent Rose for a mix session on the songs we recorded together back in December. He’s now gone ahead and streamed them on his website for your listening pleasures.
That mix session is responsible for tracks #3-7 in his media player. Special thanks to Jesse Rodriguez and Cody Walker during the initial tracking session.
Always a pleasure, Kent. Can’t wait...

Niftier & Fiftier
Now that it’s 2012, I’m picking up where I left off with the 50 States Project from last year. I’ll be posting shots on each of the next 5 Fridays.
These images were all taken in 2011 (except for one on Jan 1 ‘12) with a disposable camera while driving across state lines.
By the time I exhaust this cache of photos, I’ll have 14 out of 50* states covered. More...

Black Hole Sound Waves →
fuckyeahtheuniverse:
Sound waves 57 octaves lower than middle-C are rumbling away from a supermassive black hole in the Perseus cluster.
Astronomers using NASA’s Chandra X-ray Observatory have found, for the first time, sound waves from a supermassive black hole. The “note” is the deepest ever detected from any object in our Universe. The tremendous amounts of energy carried by...

Not A Starving Artist: 50 Reasons not to Date a... →
notastarvinartist:
Was inspired to write one of these hehe.
They rather hold their bulky camera, than hold hands with you.
On a romantic date, you’ll watch the sun go down and think “Wow this is gorgeous” and they’ll go “mirror lock, tripod, and stop down f/8 at 1/125.”
You’ll never be able to enjoy tv,…
Automatic Reblog. Yes.
I lost count after I found my umpteenth shared behavior.

Adventures in the Space/Time Continuum
ATTN: Music and/or Sports Geeks
Twenty years ago yesterday was the release date of My Bloody Valentine’s magnum opus Loveless. The following day, Magic Johnson announced he was HIV+ and retired from the Lakers.
November 1991 will now be forever engrained in my memory by these two events. The Space/Time continuum wins again.

One of my arbitrary life goals...
…is to have a chance encounter with the anonymous people I follow on Twitter or Tumblr in real life.
Today, I think I rode a train next to two of them.
Close enough for me.

BTB: Girl Power →
bettythebruiser:
Last night was a very special treat. Not only did we get to play with our friends in Rocket Miner from Chicago, IL, there were also female musicians in ALL but one band on the bill!
I get really excited whenever I see other women in bands doing their thing and holding their own. Unfortunately, my experience in trying to reach out to my fellow lady musicians has not always...

This Just In (Because I'm Slow To The Party)
The intro to “YYZ” by Rush is actually morse code for the letters “Y-Y-Z”.
The intro to a song titled by their home airport has morse code spelling its three-letter airport code.
God, I love this band.
